Naproxen is an NSAID that can irritate the stomach lining and affect kidney function. Avoid consuming large amounts of foods or drinks that make your urine less acidic (alkaline), such as milk, dairy products, and most citrus fruits. These can prevent the methenamine in Uribel from converting into its active form, making the medicine less effective.
